Why We Are Essential

Connections are therapy. They allow children and their families to connect with the community, and access the help they need, when it matters most.

The Power of Connection

A child living with neurodiversity and their family face lifelong, complex help-seeking challenges along with distress and mental health issues. Opportunities to pivot through connections can build community strength and resilience that are crucial to overcoming help-seeking roadblocks.

Opportunities to pivot allow children and their families to focus on something that isn't about help-seeking or distress, and instead on relief, hope, empowerment and togetherness.

For 16 years Pivot Community (formerly Buds in Bloom) has given neurodiverse children and their families the strength they need to face help-seeking challenges through community-connection.

An Opportunity to Pivot

An opportunity to pivot through connection gives a neurodiverse child and their family the strength to face lifelong challenges. Opportunities to pivot bring relief and hope, helping the family navigate roadblocks not alone and softening struggles, unpredictability and uncertainty.

Help-Seeking is Challenging

Help-seeking can take so much from a family. All the hope, joy and freedom of families is robbed and replaced by fear and isolation.
